The short answer is no. Solar Panel Systems produce cost efficient electricity but have no mechanism alone to store electricity. In some instances a control module can be installed to direct a very modest current to a few vital low amperage breakers. However, your Solar Panel System will need to be supplemented with a Battery Backup System for electricity recall if you expect emergency energy discharge at any scaled level.

No. While the date of completed installation is certainly exciting, it is not the day of activation. A process known as System Interconnection must be initiated and completed with the Utility Company providing electrical service to the home. Electrical Utilities must ensure the compatibility and safety of the installed Solar panel system before allowing it to be connected with our main electrical grid. Expect this process to take 30 days from initiation.
